Who, What, Why OTE Tanzania
We, Nicky and Alan, are a couple living in the UK who decided God called us to help children in the developing world. Since 2010, we have visited schools in Tanzania, teaching and looking at ways we can help. This work has involved projects to add facilities to severely under-funded schools, as well as individual sponsorship for carefully selected students. We have been running OTE since 2018. This charity is an umbrella for like-minded individuals. Our motivation is our faith and a belief that we all have a responsibility to help those who are less fortunate. This help is offered wherever we find a need that we believe we can satisfy. We cannot do this work on our own. Fortunately we have been blessed to come across many well-meaning and generous people. What Your Help Means

MM was an orphan from a very poor background. OTE helped her through her education and to set up a small business.

The young child and gentleman are both from a leper community in Northern Tanzania. While working there, we managed to secure funds to buy beds and solar panels for the community. As the lepers now did not have to sleep on the floor, they were spared attacks by rats at night. We also managed to provide food on a regular basis.
